Word of 2026 - Blaze

I've been picking a word since 2017 (Generous, Impactful, Powerful, Joyful, Enduring, Expansive, Abundance) but my word for 2026 is my boldest yet.

Leaning into the year of the Fire Horse and moving from Hope (a form of planning) to Action.

I'm all about maximizing opportunity and never wasting a crisis. Navigating change is the need of the day and those of us who can - must - step up to create opportunity.

I'm all in to laying the foundation of not just 2026 but the next decade of human progress.

The elements of Blaze that speak to me for this year include

: to burn brightly

: to be conspicuously brilliant or resplendent

: to mark (a trail) with blazes

: to lead in some direction or activity

The guiding principle for me is both the strategic (where/what) and the tactical (consistent and active) - on every dimension expect big things.
